Local Info

Why move to Mid Sussex?
Over half the Mid Sussex region (128 square miles) lies within Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty with many miles of beautiful walks to be enjoyed, ancient woodlands to explore and historic houses and magnificent gardens to visit. Many place names will be familiar as the whole area has played its part in history throughout the ages.

TransportTransport
Regular South Central trains on the Brighton Main Line to London Bridge, London Victoria or Kings Cross Thameslink take between 45 & 60 mins (depending on your journey's start and finish) with many trains calling at Gatwick Airport. Thameslink trains also stop regularly at stations between Hassocks and London Bridge with similar journey times.

The proximity of the A23 and A27 means that access by road to the south coast is excellent and road travel to Gatwick, Heathrow and beyond - via the M23 (about 15 minutes from Haywards Heath, for example) M25 and the rest of the motorway network make a 'home in the country' a very viable proposition.
